New Angel Litter Bins

All of the old, plastic litter bins in the BID area are being replaced with new bins designed with cigarette stubbing plates to minimise the risk of fires from lighted cigarettes being put into them. The new bins (pictured) are branded with the Angel logo and have matching liners. They are ergonomically designed in vandal-proof Zintec steel and sixty of them will be on the streets soon. The additional cleansing contract which BID members pay for already ensures that bins at the Angel are frequently emptied as part of our pledge to make the Angel the cleanest centre on the borough and the additional bins will be included in the same cleansing contract at no extra cost.
