Vote for your favourite Angel market trader

They’re out in all weathers selling your favourite products, and now here’s your chance to show your favourite market trader in our BID area how much you appreciate them by nominating them in Islington’s first-ever competition to find the market trader of the year.

Is it the fish man in Chapel Market, or the cheery fruit and veg lady? Maybe it’s the second-hand book man, or the once-a-week delicious cheese stall? Is the baked potato machine a life-saver for you on a miserable winter’s day or do you swear by the bargain socks and make-up stalls? Perhaps you simply wouldn’t buy your birthday cards, Christmas wrap or batteries anywhere else? And that’s not to mention the regulars in Camden Passage. Is the vintage clothes stall a must for you every weekend?

If the answer to any of these is yes, then give your trader the recognition they deserve! Send in their name, their market and a few words about why you think they deserve to win to Islington Council either by emailing street.trading@islington.gov.uk, or calling 020 7527 3830, sending in a nomination form (ask your trader for details), or writing directly to
Freepost RRLU-SEAE-HELS
London Borough of Islington
Public Protection Division

All nominations must be received by August 15 2008.

Everyone who nominates will be entered into a free prize draw and the winner will receive a voucher worth £25 to spend on their star trader’s stall.
