route 38Their plans include widening loading bays, pavements and bus lanes on Upper Street, moving the main pedestrian crossing further north from the tube to above the junction with Liverpool Road, a new crossing at the junction with Essex Road, and wider, safer northbound bus stops outside the N1 Centre – all of which they predict will make bus journeys at least 5% quicker with fewer stops.
