Our dazzling Angel Christmas lights will be sparkling in the trees again this year – and north-east London’s finest actor Larry Lamb (who played twisted dad Archie Mitchell in EastEnders and also starred as Michael Shipman, Gavin’s dad in Gavin & Stacey) enjoyed the Angel so much last year, he’s coming back this year to switch on the glitz.

Gather in the N1 Centre on Saturday 26 November 2011 at 5pm to see Larry and give him a cheer as he presses the all-important button.

Our Christmas lights have been the talk of the town in recent years and we intend to give the Angel a really festive feel to attract visitors and make sure all businesses do a roaring trade.

There’s a designer crafts market popping up in Chapel Market Saturdays til Christmas, from 10am-4pm on November 26, December 10 & 17 - unique handmade gifts, stocking-fillers and decorations. The N1 Centre is also hosting a crafts market Dec 1-24 10am-7pm (5pm on Sundays).
