As part of our continuing pro-active approach to the security of your business and protection of your staff, together with the Angel Police Team we are holding a counter-terrorism Awareness Day on Tuesday 8 November 2011 focusing on crime trends and current threat levels.

Aimed at security staff, facilities managers, and frontline staff, or anyone responsible for your premises, the training will revolve around
- protecting busy areas such as venues, pubs or shops vulnerable to attack
- how to spot people carrying out hostile reconnaissance or devices
- where terrorism cannot be stopped, how to lessen its impact
- managing a crime scene - the way your staff respond is critical to the safety of your customers and business

It’s at 10am-3pm, the Assembly Rooms, Town Hall, Upper Street. Book in advance by emailing projectgriffin.islington@met.police.uk or call Sgt Andrew Wadeson on 020 7421 0358.
