A sign you just can't miss

Our latest success is helping hairdressers Toni & Guy liaise effectively with Islington Council council planners and get the ok to install a their new and bigger silver shop sign.

Hidden away behind the side of the RBS bank, salon owner Edmund Dobney said it was frustrating that lots of people passed by and didn’t know they were there.

He’d already been turned down once for a bigger sign by Islington’s planners, because the building is in a conservation area – and so Edmund came to Angel AIM for help.

“Every time you apply for planning permission it costs £95, plus preparation time and maybe even the cost of drawings. We needed to be briefed on exactly what the council would accept rather than wasting time and money submitting endless applications.”

Angel AIM has a close working relationship with most council departments and arranged for planners to visit Edmund, check out the site and explain clearly what size and type of sign they would allow. His application was successful and you can’t miss the result.
